A.A.Milne once wrote: “Sometimes, the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”

That’s certainly been true with each one of these seven life-changing quotes.

So, let’s get into it.

“Worrying is like paying a debt you don’t owe”

Michael Jordan once said, “Why would I think about missing a shot before I’ve even taken it?”

Worrying about some future event is the source of anxiety. However, in truth, nothing’s happened yet. All possibilities are on the table. All versions of reality exist.

I used to spend way too much time thinking about what might go wrong to the point where I’d think about failing before I’d even failed.

Now I try and carry Michael Jordan’s words with me and not think about missing a shot before I take one. This has been helping me to take more risks and ultimately succeed more often.

“Don’t wrestle with pigs — You both get dirty and the pig likes it”

I used to get into pointless arguments with random strangers and feel drained. Now, reserving my energy for what’s important in life means more to me than proving myself right or wrong.

It’s been a small shift but it’s had a big impact.

“Twenty years from now you’ll be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do”

So take risks, explore, and have fun.

Twenty years go by fast.

“Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection”

A few years ago, I heard James Clear say: “If you get one percent better each day for one year, you’ll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you’re done.”

Here is a visual aid to make it clearer.
