When I set out on my writing journey, I had the excitement of a little child, the ignorance of a newcomer, the audacity of someone willing to dream, and the bravery of a broken man who was daring to follow his heart.

It could have ended so much worse than it did but after 500 articles (and counting!), I feel like I’m only just getting started.

In the beginning

In the beginning, I was very innocent.

Simply publishing an article was the mothership of all tasks.

I felt naked, vulnerable, and a complete fraud.

I thought — Who am I to write blogs or take up space on the internet?

My self-doubt and lack of self-worth were next levels!

Yet, something kept me going.

Jim Carrey’s words became a daily mantra for me as I set out on my mission:

You can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.
