The Psychedelic Experience

Psychedelics, at least for me, create an out of body experience. They thin the veil of what appears to be a solid world and show me that there is more to see than what is revealed to the naked eye.

Everything expands.

Everything softens.

And in that a type of wonder and awe arises.

I’ve been lucky enough to experience and experiment with many psychedelics over the years and later sit with plant medicines to further journey into the unknown spaces of consciousness to bear witness to the great mystery that surrounds us.

As Joe Dispenza says — ‘we become less particle and more wave. Less matter and more energy.’

This is the joy of these life altering experiences, and probably what, to some degree, keeps people searching and seeking for more.

They’re not searching or seeking for the psychedelic itself, they’re searching and seeking for more of themselves.

The only niggle I have with some of the journeys I have taken is that in the disembodiment, in the dissolution of self and all things material, it’s very hard to stay grounded. Quite often it can blast me off into different…
