Something I Wish I Knew When I Was Younger

This would have made life a hell of a lot easier

Matilda was one of my favourite childhood movies.

I often dreamed of having the kind of power she had, especially when school teachers picked on me.

I would squint my eyes and stare at them intently, imagining how I would lift their glass of water above their head and dump it all over them.

I found myself doing this with most authority figures in my life.

This created the perfect escape from reality and something that got me through school. However, Maltida always remained in the realm of the magical and mystical. I never in my wildest dreams thought such things could happen in real life.

That was until I learned the mind-bending nature of quantum physics. According to our current understanding of atomic structure, nearly all of matter, including everything we see and touch, is considered to be about 99% empty space.

So, clearly, things aren’t what they appear to be, not at first sight, anyway.

What is going on then?

To answer that, let me share a few scientific studies that showcase the power of the mind.
