I’m talking physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
What Is The Good Kind of Stress?
Good stress is anything that activates a positive stress response in the body, mind and spirit. Whether that’s through a physical activity like exercise or through a complex challenge at work or home like building new furniture, a tough sudoku puzzle or learning a new recipe (to name but a few).
It can be anything. As long as the mind, body and spirit are pushed (even if only a little) to an edge, then the mind, body and spirit respond to stress in a very positive way.
What if there were things we could do every day that stressed us out so that other things didn’t?
What if we could practise (for as little as 30 minutes) every day something that calms us down for the other 23 and half hours?
That’s the kind of good stress I’m talking about.
